Plotline:
It is the year 2090. There is no law, no uphold over civilization of the planet. Things have changed but not for the better of mankind. It all started with mankind’s first encounter with an alien life-form. All seemed well – we invited them into our planet, into our homes and into our lives. Then they withdrew all they needed – our blood, our DNA, our resources and life as we knew it changed. The very things we had made hospitable on our home were now primary targets in the next world war. Once it began, only the few could stop it. The few survivors escaped to Earths safest haven – the beacon light. Now, they face a giant battle to retake their planet from the hands of the Betrean…

Main story characters:
Kyle Hilton – earths most trusted and skilled ex-police officer had joined the ranks of ‘Ciryris Squadron’, earth’s last remaining hope of survival. He has the unique ability to perform extraordinary techniques that can both endanger him or relieve him of death.
Henry Ushercroft – the man responsible for earth’s next war. Horrified at the pain he has brought to the planet, he is now Ciryris’s most valuable source of information on the Betrean. He provides the knowledge – Ciryris follow his orders.
Joanna Gray – Ciryris rescued Joanna from the clutches of a Betrean ambush. Since then, she has no recognition of her past and has no idea who she is or where she must go next. Throughout the game she faces a major battle to discover who she is.

Formats:
Black daylight will be available for purchase on both the Xbox 360 console and the PC. The reason for this is because Black daylight supports online play and is an exclusive games for windows title allowing players on both the Xbox 360 and the PC to play together.

What is the game about?:
(PLOT LINE and CHARACTERS have already been explained) Players can expect a wide range of exciting features and game play. This includes:

- Black daylight consists of 18 single player missions. Each mission contains a wide variety of Betrean creatures to fight with and each mission plays host to a ‘boss-like’ creature to fight at the end. For most of the missions you will play as Kyle Hilton although some missions see you playing as another side character or another member of Ciryris squadron.

- Black daylight sees players being able to customise what weaponry they use throughout the game. By collecting various ingredients located throughout the game, you can transform any seemingly normal object into a weapon. For example, with a simple lighter, you can set fire to a fishing net and cast it upon enemies to engulf them in a plume of flames. EVERY normal object is liable to be turned into a weapon providing you have the right methods of creating such weapon.

- Black daylight supports online play for up to 22 players that are either playing on the Xbox 360 console or the PC. The online consists of 6 game types and 16 maps available from the start of the game. The 6 game modes are: deathmatch, team deathmatch, collect and return, stealth attack, co-op and campaign. In collect and return, players must infiltrate the other teams base, collect the ancient relic and return it to their base to score a point. In stealth attack, players on the squadron on team must sneak their way into the Betrean base, hack their terminal data posts and successfully return it to their own base. In co-op, players must play through the single player campaign with up to 3 other players either by LAN, system link or Xbox live.

- Black daylight is an exclusive games for windows title. Players on their PC version can play online with players on the Xbox 360 version of the game. Black daylight also has clan support meaning clans can be formed with utmost ease and can join or host clan matches easily. Clan leaders can add/remove members and have the ability to fully personalize the clan.

- During online matches, players will collect XP points that vary with kills/wins/etc. XP points are used to purchase alternative clothing, gear, weapons, upgrades, etc. Once a player has enough XP points, they can purchase new gear etc. Weapons are also available to purchase and also have upgrades that can also be purchased given the right amount of XP points.
